We are looking for experienced Steward & 2nd Cooks for Hopper Dredgers, location in Europe.

- Position: 2 x 2nd shipscook | 2 stewards
- Vessel: Hopper Dredger;
- Location: Europe;
Tasks/Responsibilities
- Responsible for assisting the Chief Cook in all meal preparation and menu planning
- Responsible for preparing hot meals, garnishes, sauces and salads according to menu scope and within the budget
- Needs to be available to assist the Camp Boss and Chief Cook in making the inventory
- Responsible for cleaning working areas and storage rooms according to the weekly schedule
- Responsible for quantity control during meal serving • Responsible to assist in unloading deliveries at all times making sure they are stored properly according to the FIFO and the IFS way of working
Requirements
- Proven working experience as 2nd Cook 1-3 years;
- Good knowledge in different cultures and food preparation as well as menu planning
- Strong Communication and organization Skills
- Stress resistant
- Good HSE and Food Hygiene knowledge
- Must have a thorough knowledge and control of the provision and food stores
- Should have the ability to safely and properly handle and operate all galley equipment
- Fluent in English (write, speak, understand and read);
