THE OFFSHORE INSTALLATION MANAGER (OIM) IS THE MOST SENIOR PERSON ON THE PLATFORM OR VESSEL. THE OIM IS ULTIMATELY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CONTINUOUS OPERATIONS AND ALL HEALTH & SAFETY ASPECTS OF THE INSTALLATION.
You will liaise with your health and safety representative to improve standards of safety and oversee daily production operations to ensure that targets are being met. The OIM will also ensure that the managers and their teams are operating as they should and in the event of an emergency, they will manage the situation.
