Able Seaman

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Able Seaman to join the crew for immediate deployment on 2023.03.15. 6/6 week rotation until the end of 2023. As an Able Seaman, you will be an integral part of our team and will be responsible for assisting in the safe navigation and operation of the vessel.

Details
  • Position: 3x Able Seaman;
  • Rotation: 6 weeks;
  • Vessel: DP2 Offshore Installation Vessel
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the navigation and operation of the vessel, including the handling of lines, anchoring, and docking procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain the vessel’s equipment and systems, including navigation, communication, and safety equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as painting, cleaning, and repairing equipment as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment.
  • Participate in drills and training exercises to maintain readiness for emergency situations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Captain or Chief Officer.
Requirements
  • AB II/5
  • Watchkeeping certificate II/4
  • STCW Basic Safety 1-4
  • Designated Duties VI/6-4
  • HUET
  • Crane Operator Stage 2 or similar
  • STCW FRB VI/2-2
  • US visa – B.1 or ability to obtain
  • UK frontier or ability to obtain Skilled Worker visa ( requires UK language test)
